Project Overview
VoX | Avant-garde Art Gallery
VoX is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to artists who challenge convention and explore new forms of expression. True to its slogan, The voice of contemporary art, VoX is both a space and a statement: a gallery that listens to art and amplifies its impact, offering a platform for experimentation, creativity, and dissent.
The goal was to reflect VoX’s avant-garde ethos and their mission and cleverly represent art, without relying on clichés.
VoX sought a visual identity that feels minimalist yet still bold and refined, and embodies the energy of the Bauhaus aesthetic, reflecting their curatorial approach.
The Creative Process
A Bauhaus-inspired identity
The design direction took inspiration from the Bauhaus aesthetic, using geometry and balance to express a modern, experimental identity. The word Vox sits within a pink frame, with the letters V and X in dark blue-grey and the O represents a mouth shouting and becomes the main focal point.
Clean lines and a symmetrical layout create a sense of structure and purpose. The sans-serif typeface, used in two different weights, adds rhythm and contrast.
The final result is a minimalist, modern, and expressive logo that reflects the spirit of experimentation at the heart of the gallery’s identity.
Typography & Colour Palette
Colours and typefaces that reflect art and rebellion
I used Outfit in Light and Black, a minimalist typeface with a modern, clean, and impactful look, and chose Deep Navy Blue, two cold greys, and Eclectic Pink as an accent, reflecting art, creativity, and rebellion. Together, the typography and colour palette reflect the brand’s commitment to give a voice to contemporary art and its artist-centred approach, while evoking its Bauhaus aesthetic.

Roberta created a stunning branding for our gallery, everything looks so professional and coherent now! She made the process feel effortless and the resultat is exactly what we were dreaming for.
